Sea Water Air Conditioning (SWAC)

Sea Water Air Conditioning takes advantage of the lower ambient temperature of sea water and its ability to be used in a heat exchange process.

The process is simply to take water from as low in the ocean/sea as possible, feed it to a cooling station on land where heat exchange can occur. The warmed water is returned to the sea and the cooled water is returned to the data centre for re-use using a closed loop chilled water distribution system.
