Mechanical and Electrical

Mechanical and Electrical is a term used to cover the engineering facilities of the data centre. The areas covered include the supply and conditioning of power and enrgy for the IT equipment, the air conditioning and heating facilities necessary for the environmental control and all other mechanical systems necessary to support the data centre.

Personnel with M&E responsibilities cover both the installation, commissioning, maintenance and decommissioning of all M&E resources.
