Electronic Industry Code of Conduct

The Electronic Industry Code of Conduct establishes standards to ensure that working conditions in the electronics industry supply chain are safe, that workers are treated with respect and dignity, and that business operations are environmentally responsible.

Originally developed by a number of companies engaged in the manufacture of electronics products in 2004, it has had several revisions and updates.

The Code consists of five sections.

* A - Labor

* B - Health and Safety

* C - Environment

* D - Managing conformity

* E - Standards of Business ethics
