Course Description
The Complete Guide to the EU Code of Conduct on Data Centre Energy Efficiency covers all aspects of the Code of Conduct from why it has been created to how to implement and maintain it over the long term
The course covers the basic engineering principles required, the terminology and the structure and concepts inherent in the Code of Conduct. It then goes on to cover how to apply for the different role types of Participant and Endorser and provide insight into how to implement a programme to deliver the energy efficiency benefits that the Code of Conduct offers.
Through the ideas presented it explains how the long term management of energy can be enhanced through adoption of the Code of Conduct and its best practices. Structure and applicability of the best practices is also covered and with the concepts and definitions fully defined methods and strategies are discussed for their implementation and management. Monitoring of energy consumption together with methods for collating, analysing and reviewing data and using the reporting forms to comply with EU guidelines is also covered.
