Reducing Costs - Placing a Stake in the Ground
Dimension 85 provides a baseline and ongoing assessment service delivering a systematic approach to comparing your IT Infrastructure investment against the EU Code of Conduct on Data Centres Energy Efficiency best practice guidlines.
In response to a recognised increase in energy consumption and demand within data centres, the European Commission's Joint Research Centre has released the Code of Conduct on Data Centers Energy EFficiency (Code) which includes a best practice guide to identification and recommendation for improving energy efficiency, reducing demand and raising awareness.
This vendor-independent assessment, is delivered in report form and takes a holistic approach to the data centre infrastructure and environment to establish a point-in-time measurement of maturity and effectiveness of the IT Infrastructure. The report classifies each component of the Code of Conduct with its unique assessment and adoption rating and together with the Code's defined importance ratings enable you to establish priorities and identify infrastructure component candidates for improvement.
