Bull UK and Dimension 85 Announce Joint Initiative To Support Conformance to EU Code of Conduct on Data Centre Energy Efficiency

2nd August 2010 Bull and Dimension 85 have announced today a joint initiative to enable Public Sector organisations to meet the requirements outlined in the EU Code of Conduct on Data Centre Energy Efficiency.
This initiative includes a Memorandum of Understanding for the joint sales and marketing of Dimension 85's Assessor EU Code of Conduct for Data Centres conformance solution, which will offer a low cost route to significant energy cost savings. Specifically developed for the Public Sector marketplace, Bull is already implementing Assessor in its new Barnsley data centre.

PUE reporting enhances Assessor's support for data centres addressing energy efficiency

1st June 2010 Dimension 85's Assessor has been enhanced with graphical reporting functionality to help data centres track and monitor their PUE value over time. This new support is part of a feature upgrade to Assessor’s reporting system that sees the addition of several graphical reports and the ability to create assessments directly to Microsoft Word, or similar, format.
This release also sees enhancement to the online security further ensuring and maintaining customer’s data protection and privacy.
